Earlier today, Corey Perry spoke out about his heated exchange on the Oilers bench, and now Evander Kane has done exactly the same.
For the second time in a week, the Oilers are answering questions about a heated argument on their bench, and given Corey Perry brushed it off as anything bigger, it's no surprise that Kane has done the same.
This comes after Kane and Leon Draisaitl were seen exchanging words on the Oilers bench, but given the talent all over their team, it appears that they are all aware they can't let this be their undoing. Simply put, both men have put this down to competitiveness between very talented players out of nothing more than frustration, and it's hard to argue their point here, as it appears nothing too serious is going on.
With the playoffs less than two weeks away, if something is going on in the locker room, it needs to be sorted out now, and if the Oilers are on the same page, they'll be a team that few in the Western Conference want to face in a seven-game series.
