The Edmonton Oilers held a moment of silence for Adam Johnson who passed away last night after a freak accident playing in the EIHL. One fan did not respect the moment though.
Former Penguin Adam Johnson had gone overseas to continue his career as a professional hockey player. He signed with the Nottingham Panthers of the EIHL last offseason, taking his talents to the UK. Unfortunately he suffered a fatal injury in his last game with the team. The Panthers confirmed the news on X this morning.
Since the announcement was made, an outpouring of support has come from all around the hockey world.
