The McDavid family has admitted that they had to lie about his age to first get Connor into hockey!
«It was a bit frustrating, because he missed the cutoff by 13 days,» Kelly McDavid explained. «We told him, ‘If they ask for your birth certificate, we'll have to tell them,' but they never did.»
It sure seems to have paid off however, as Connor McDavid truly is a franchise talent.
Everything but the Cup
Connor McDavid will stop at nothing for a Stanley Cup. It's apparent that he doesn't care about the individual awards or attention, just the end goal of being a champion. That being said, is this the year the Oilers win the title?
