In breaking news, the Edmonton Oilers have officially signed Corey Perry, and have released his contract details and jersey number.

Corey Perry will officially make his return to the NHL wearing an Edmonton Oilers Jersey, and number 90 at that. The Oilers announced today that they have signed Perry to a one-year deal worth $775,000 with a number of performance bonuses worked in.

Perry was given the green light to return to the NHL just a few weeks ago and has since been pursued by a number of teams. He had reportedly joined the Oilers this morning for practice and could make his start with the team as early as this week.
