This afternoon a source noticed that Columbus Blue Jackets forward Patrik Laine has listed his Downtown Columbus apartment for sale online. The announcement of this listing has led to major speculation regarding Patrik Laine's future in Columbus and in the NHL.

With Patrik Laine's entry into the NHL's Player Assistance Program earlier this year his NHL future has been put on hold. Now his future in Columbus seems as though it is as good as over. The only problem is that Patrik Laine is still under contract in Columbus for two more seasons.
As of now, Patrik Laine's future career plans have not been announced. As he continues to be in the Player Assistance Program we wish him the best in recovering and dealing with the issues he needs to. Hopefully, soon we will be able to see Patrik Laine back on the ice whether that is in Columbus or not.
