The NHLPA took to X.com today to announce that Connor Clifton has been suspended for two games for his hit on Devils' captain Nico Hischier. The hit was directly to the head of Hischier.

Buffalo's Connor Clifton has been suspended for two games for an Illegal Check to the Head of New Jersey's Nico Hischier.




Clifton was assessed a match penalty during the game for the hit but now will sit for two games. The decision came after the NHLPA held a hearing on the matter.
