Jake DeBrusk reveals his former Bruins teammate that scared him the most
Every team in the NHL has a player who is intimidating both in the locker room and on the ice and today former Boston Bruin Jake DeBrusk revealed who that guy was in Boston.
Jake DeBrusk spent the first several years of his NHL career with the Boston Bruins. This summer he will be moving on for the first time after signing in free agency with the Vancouver Canucks.
Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has agreed to terms with forward Jake DeBrusk on a 7-year contract with a $5.5M AAV.

While speaking to the media Jake DeBrusk was asked about his time in Boston. He brought up stories about several former teammates including former captain Zdeno Chara in which he was intimidated and scared around the 6'9 monster of a defenseman when he first arrived in Boston.
Super calm demeanor. Like such a nice guy and I love Z, but at the beginning, you're intimidated. You are straight up intimidated seeing Z for the first time,» DeBrusk recalled when he appeared on «The Cam & Strick Podcast» on Tuesday. «I remember the first time I saw him on the ice; it was even more intimidating. We had a one-on-one drill, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, I don't even know how to attack this guy right now.' It's like I never seen anything like (him) at the time, but you get used to it as time goes on.
He goes on to talk about Zdeno Chara asking Jake DeBrusk to tip pucks shot from the point by Zdeno Chara. For anyone who remembers how hard Zdeno Chara could shoot this request in itself is incredibly terrifying.
