The Boston Bruins announced that former Captain Ed Sandford has passed away at the age of 95.
It is with sadness that we share Ed Sandford, who had been our oldest living Bruins Alumni member, has passed away at the age of 95.

More news surrounding his passing is not known at this time.
Ed Sandford played 9 years in the NHL. During that time he played 502 games and had 251 points. Most of his career was spent with the Bruins where he was the captain in 1954-55.
Sandford also spent seasons with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks. Our thoughts are with Ed Sandford's family.
