In response to the results of the vote, the NHL took to their social media platforms to express their disappointment.
"The National Hockey League is terribly disappointed by the results of the public referenda regarding the Coyotes' arena project in Tempe. We are going to review with the Coyotes what the options might be going forward."
Many people believe that they will be relocated. But the question is: where to?
Houston has been on the NHL's radar for a while now and it seems like the most probable city to host the Coyotes.
