Is Carter Hart Leaving the Flyers?

Philadelphia Flyers fans are anticipating significant changes in the team's roster in the coming months. However, the specifics of these changes have been unclear until now. According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Flyers are looking to trade their netminder Carter Hart. During a recent podcast, Friedman stated

"I think you're bang on with Carter Hart. You talked about him on Saturday night, and I think he's going to be available."

It seems that the Flyers are attempting to rebuild their roster and that Hart is not a part of their future plans. Jeff Marek further explained this situation, stating,

"We're really starting to wonder about Carter Hart. The presence and emergence of Samuel Ersson, the netminder of Lehigh Valley, has really given the Philadelphia Flyers some options here."

The development of Samuel Ersson appears to have pushed the Flyers to consider trading Hart. However, Marek suggests that this trade could also be beneficial for Hart.

"What would they get for Carter Hart on the open market? We suspect a lot. And does Carter Hart want to spend what would probably be the best years of his career in a rebuild? Something very much to watch there."

It seems that Hart's time with the Flyers is coming to an end. Throughout his NHL career, Hart has played in 194 regular season games and has a 2.97 GAA and a .905 save percentage.

The question remains: which team will acquire Hart?
