According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Flyers are looking to trade their netminder Carter Hart. During a recent podcast, Friedman stated
"I think you're bang on with Carter Hart. You talked about him on Saturday night, and I think he's going to be available."
It seems that the Flyers are attempting to rebuild their roster and that Hart is not a part of their future plans. Jeff Marek further explained this situation, stating,
"We're really starting to wonder about Carter Hart. The presence and emergence of Samuel Ersson, the netminder of Lehigh Valley, has really given the Philadelphia Flyers some options here."
