While Pickard has been an improvement over what Campbell did this season so far it is still not inspiring confidence in the Oilers front office. Pickard has a 2.94 goals-against average and a 0.891 save percentage through two games.
With this massive hole still in the Oilers' lineup a new mock trade has been put together to solve things.

Flyers' goalie Carter Hart is having a massive bounce-back season this year. In 12 games he has a 2.53 goals against average and a 0.911 save percentage. These marks are the second-best of his career and his best since 2019-20.

Caleb Kerney has suggested a trade package that would land Hart in Edmonton and the Flyers with a bounty of assets.
