Alex DeBrincat has found a new home and has already signed a long term extension.
DeBrincat Becomes A Red Wing
It was just announced that the Red Wings have traded for and signed Alex DeBrincat.
The Red Wings have given up 20-goal scorer Dominik Kubalik, prospect Donovan Sebrango, a conditional 2024 1st round pick and a 2024 4th round pick.
The conditions on the pick is that Detroit is able to choose which pick they give Ottawa, their own or Boston's.
In addition to this, the Red Wings have extended DeBrincat long term at an extension less than $8 million per year which is a phenomenal contract considering DeBrincat's upside.
