Phil 'The Thrill' Kessel just had his day with the Stanley Cup after winning it for the third time in his career.
Kessel won the Cup this past June with the Vegas Golden Knights, even though he did not suit up for any games in the Finals. Kessel had two rings from his time with the Pittsburgh Penguins champions of 2016 and 2017.
Just like he did the last ttime he won the Cup, he threw a bit of shade in a former teams direction.

It was recently Kessel's day with the Cup and he decided to bring it to his former home in Toronto.
This appears to be the second time Kessel has brought the Cup to Toronto as he infamously put hot dogs in the Cup after his Pittsburgh Penguins won in 2016.
Predictably, Leaf fans were unable to be the butt end of the joke yet again.
Seeing their former much-maligned star bring the Cup to their city as part of another team for the second time set off some fans on Twitter.
Who can blame Leaf fans for being salty....When you hold the all-time record for longest Stanley Cup drought you deserve to be a little petty.
