The Oilers are simply a goal-scoring machine, even more so this year with the dream season of Connor McDavid and a number of other players.

Among them, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins had the best campaign of his career, with 104 points. The former number-one overall pick in 2011 surpassed his previous mark of 69 points with aplomb.
The fact remains that in Edmonton, it's always the same problem. We score a lot of goals, but give away a lot. The addition of Mattias Ekholm has helped, but it's not enough.
They'll have to part with some productive players, and according to Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins could be on his way out and join the Bruins.
Boston is in desperate need of centers, with the departures of David Krejci and Patrice Bergeron more than likely. What's more, the team has a very good defense and can afford to let a guy like Matt Grzelcyk go.
Obviously, the Bruins will have to give more, but this is a good basis for negotiation. If the Oilers absolutely won't part with RNH, the Bruins' target would be Ryam McLeod.
