Tyler Bertuzzi gives teams a swagger in addition to his rugged play and scoring. Although, to end his tenure with Detroit, his playing time was often cut short by frequent injuries.
His character and arrogance stood out for the team once he was traded to Boston. After a few games, Bertuzzi moved up to the top line and top powerplay after beginning his career on the third line and second powerplay.
Matthews Addresses Bertuzzi's on-ice Style

Auston Matthews had a few amusing jabs for his new colleague.
Must read on Daily Hockey Dose
The tongues of Bertuzzi's skates are exposed, and there is hardly any tape on his sticks, Matthews was quick to point out those funny anecdotes. Tyler Bertuzzi is a truly unique talent who appears to be bringing a new, exciting, and enjoyable atmosphere to Leaf land.
The B/R Open Ice account was drawn to Bertuzzi's skating style on Thursday.
Tyler Bertuzzi has always stood out among many other hockey players thanks to his appearance because to his long, flowing hair and missing tooth. He is certainly a one-of-a-kind player when you combine that with his consistent ability to score points and frustrate his opponents.
The addition of Tyler Bertuzzi could end up being the final piece of the Stanley Cup puzzle for the Toronto Maple Leafs. If not, then perhaps he will be the juice the team needs to get past the second round of the playoffs at least.
