PK Subban, no stranger to controversy, finds himself once again on the receiving end of fans' ire.
The retired player made questionable comments about a dangerous hit on
Jaccob Slavin that injured him.
The ESPN analyst shared the hit by
Sam Bennett on Slavin and his comments weren't appreciated by the fans.

This is out of line. Not only did he disregarded player safety, but he also endorsed the ongoing normalization of violence in the sport. Suggesting that dangerous plays are acceptable simply because it's playoff season is completely irresponsible.
Predictably, his comments struck a nerve with fans, resulting in a torrent of negative responses. Even the Carolina Hurricanes weighed in on the issue, responding directly to Subban's post.
