Two Players Start Throwing Haymakers The Moment They Exit The Box
Jakub Lauko of the Boston Bruins and Louie Belpedio of the Flyers got into a heavyweight fight during tonight's preseason game. The two players had each just stepped out of the penalty box for previous unresolved shenanigans.
Belpedio is an established tough guy unafraid of dropping the gloves although he has been doing so in the AHL for most of his career. He's played just four NHL games since being drafted in 2014 but during that time he has played 304 games in the AHL, racking up over 350 penalty minutes in that stretch. Lauko on the other hand is still getting his career started. He played 23 games for the Bruins last year, putting up 7 points and just 11 penalty minutes. He has a track record of putting up lots of pims in the AHL though as well.
