The Winnipeg Jets announced today that head Coach Rick Bowness has undergone a minor medical procedure, and as a result, will miss tonight's game against the New York Rangers.

The Winnipeg Jets today announced that head coach Rick Bowness will not be on the bench for tonight's game due to a minor medical procedure. As a result, he has returned to Winnipeg for treatment. He will return to the team once his condition improves. Associate coach Scott Arniel is serving as the interim head coach until Rick returns to the team
