According to Elliotte Friedman's 32 Thoughts, there is a high chance that the Jets will be trading Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Canadiens. The two teams seem to have a mutual interest in the trade, and discussions have been ongoing.

The Jets Might Trade Dubois

"Jets have talked to the Canadiens on and off about Dubois, we know that Dubois is gonna end up there 95%, is there someway we can make a deal so the Canadiens get him earlier and we get something we want? They've talked about that"

Dubois, a 24-year-old center, has not had a particularly impressive season with the Jets, scoring only 25 goals in 66 games. It is possible that he will have better luck with the Habs. However, it remains unclear who the Jets will trade in exchange for Dubois.
The possibility of Dubois joining the Canadiens has been circulating among fans for some time now, with rumors starting last summer before he signed a one-year offer with the Jets for $6 million. It appears that these rumors may finally come to fruition. The Jets and Canadiens are even considering a deal that would allow the Habs to acquire Dubois earlier in exchange for something that the Jets want.
