If the Capitals are looking to acquire a top-six forward, they will have to part with some top assets.
The Capitals are also in possession of all of their first-round picks over the next three years and have four second-round picks over the same period.
If they find the right package for the right player, we could see the Capitals go and acquire another top forward who can help them in their quest for the cup.
