This evening the Vancouver Canucks have made a heartbreaking announcement that forward Dakota Joshua has been diagnosed with cancer.
In a post on X, the Vancouver Canucks put out a statement from Dakota Joshua. In the statement, Dakota Joshua confirmed that he recently had surgery after being diagnosed with cancer.
As a result of the surgery, insiders such as Frank Seravalli as well as many others in the hockey community have come together in support of Dakota Joshua.
As of now, there is no timeline for Dakota Joshua to return to the lineup. While he is out, Rick Tocchet will have to fill the lineup and replace his production. Luckily it seems that Dakota Joshua seems confident a full recovery is on the way.
Hopefully Dakota Joshua heals up from his surgery soon and can rejoin the Vancouver Canucks lineup without missing too much time.
