It was classic Zadorov, always ready with a witty comeback. But amidst the jokes, he also had some kind words for the Canucks fan base and took a playful jab at Calgary media.
Hockey in Canada is different. I can't compare it to Calgary, but I feel like the Vancouver fan base is way bigger," Zadorov said about the fans. "Calgary isn't even the number one team in Alberta, so it's kind of like obvious there are more Edmonton fans because they have a bigger history.
As for what's next for him and the team, well, that's still up in the air. With Zadorov hitting free agency, it's anyone's guess where he'll land next season. But wherever he goes, he'll bring that trademark Zadorov charm along for the ride.
