It really looks as though the Nashville Predators are preparing to make a splash on the trade market with the Toronto Maple Leafs for Mitch Marner.

Brad Treliving, the Leafs' general manager, made it clear that they'd look into every avenues to make sure they present a better team to the fans at the start of next season.
Their first move was to replace Sheldon Keefe as head coach by Craig Berube.
Now, the'll be able to start thinking about what changes they want to make roster-wise.
A decision will need to be made for Marner. Either they'll work on a contract extension, or they'll decide to trade him.
In the Western Conference, a team is seriously gearing up for a big trade: the Nashville Predators.
On Tuesday morning, they announced a trade: they sent the defenseman Ryan McDonagh to the Tampa Bay Lightning, as well as a fourth-round draft pick for two draft picks: one in the second round, and the other in the seventh.
Now, the Preds have three first-round picks and five in the second round in the next two years.
With all those, GM Barry Trotz could be looking to make a push for a big fish on the trade market, such as Mitch Marner.
"After talking to a few people, the sense is the McDonagh trade is a precursor to an aggressive pursuit of a high-end scorer by Barry Trotz

The Mitch Marner stans are going to be insufferable now"

"We now have 3 1st round picks and 5 2nd round picks for the next 2 years of drafts!

Big move coming????"
The Predators need a top forward on their roster, and Marner would fit perfectly.
The Leafs would surely be interested in Juuse Saros to replace Ilya Samsonov between the pipes...
Do you think the Toronto Maple Leafs will trade Mitch Marner to the Nashville Predators?
