The Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is set to get the start for game 5 against the Boston Bruins.
At today's practice, Joseph Woll was nowhere to be found, indicating he'll get the nod for tonight's crucial game.
Mark Masters revealed that information in a post on X:
"Joseph Woll is not on the ice for Leafs skate, which suggests he's starting tonight "

This season, Samsonov proved to the coaching staff that he was able to bounce back after tough performances. At some point, he was even sent down to the Marlies in the AHL to work on his game.
It's safe to say that he's been dealing with consistency struggles since he joined the Maple Leafs. In the first four games of the series, he had a 3.31 GAA and a .883 SV%. Keefe was even compelled to send Woll in the end of game 4. Even if he managed to stop all the five shots fired at him by the Bruins, it was too late, and the Leafs will now fight for their season.
The Bruins will surely come in strong and hope to close the books on round one tonight, in front of their fans. They haven't forgot last year's humiliating loss to the Florida Panthers, when they blew a 3-1 lead after a record breaking season.
