Ryan Whitney is beloved by many for his hockey culture fuelled broadcasts and content creation. The former Pittsburgh Penguin, Edmonton Oiler, and Anaheim Duck is now under fire.
He made this shocking post, in which a Boston Bruins bear is violating a Toronto Maple Leafs polar bear. It has expectedly caught a lot of negative attention.
Ian Kennedy, known for his consistent voice in activism in sports, made sure to compare Whitney's actions to far more harsh events in recent hockey history.
I took down my previous post, as there was no reason to show Ryan Whitney's disgusting use of s****l a*****t. R**e culture in hockey is real, and Barstool and SC are part of the problem in normalizing s****l a*****t in the game. So much work to be done.
He has equally been called out for using artificial intelligence to make the picture, as it is an irresponsible and disgusting use.
