New clips of Toronto Maple Leafs first-round pick Ben Danford have come out from his draft night and fans are noticing that he majorly disrespected commissioner Gary Bettman.

The Toronto Maple Leafs added several new players to their organization through the 2024 NHL Draft. Their first round pick Ben Danford out of Oshawa in the OHL got to go on stage with Gary Bettman, Brad Treliving, and Craig Berube.
When Ben Danford got up on stage he made the rounds shaking everyone from the Maple Leafs hands. However, after that he turned his back on commissioner Gary Bettman and did not shake his hand before the group all took pictures together.

Now Ben Danford will have to continue to build on this goodwill provided by the viral moment. That will begin at Maple Leafs development camp and then from there, he will likely return to the OHL with the Oshawa Generals.
As the 2024-25 NHL season begins it will be fun to watch the development of Ben Danford and all of the other players selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
