The news that shocked the hockey world this morning. Elliotte Friedman reveals that the Toronto Maple Leafs have finally agreed on a contract with young forward Nick Robertson.
A major turnaround in these contract talks as it looked like Nick Robertson will be leaving the organization after failed talks during the summer. However, we can now confirm that the Toronto Maple Leafs have inked forward Nick Robertson to a one year deal worth 875,000$.

As Dreger mentions, this was well played by the Maple Leafs inking the young forward to a one year contract.
There will be a new coach and a new environment for Nick Robertson this year with the Maple Leafs, hopefully he can excel on the left side and have a great season in Toronto.
Stay tuned for more details.
