"4 Teams, all of whom have at one point or another discussed possible trade ideas with Toronto surrounding William Nylander. and one other who just inquired in the last 72 hours."
As the start of the 2023-24 season draws near, a new team has joined the derby. Given their significant need for a winger and available cap space, they might just be the team to lure the 27-year-old out of Toronto.
"Toronto did a fine job at staying under the radar temporarily but the word is out that they want very much to move Willy ideally by the opener."
This newly interested team is the Chicago Blackhawks. With ample cap room and a clear need to support
Connor Bedard in the long run, this partnership might just be perfect.
So far, no concrete details have emerged regarding a potential trade. However, considering the mutual benefits for both teams as the new season looms, this is a situation worth monitoring.
