Leafs Stars Showcase Baseball Chops At Rogers Centre

The Blue Jays released a series of tweets this morning showing several Leafs enjoying ballpark activities like fielding ground balls and taking batting practice. According to the Blue Jays social media team, this ball apparently left the yard. Even if it did though, Matthews should probably work on that leg kick a little bit.

Here's Matthews fielding ground balls and tossing heaters to legendary Blue Jays first baseman Mitch Marner. Be sure to pay attention to how Marner puts the ball in the bucket.

Apparently, all four players took batting practice, but we only have video of the Matthews swing, so we'll have to settle for pictures for the rest of the guys.

Before taking off, the guys made sure to get a picture with Jays outfielder George Springer.
