Breaking: Ex-Maple Leafs Will Pursue his Career in Europe
Ondrej Kase, who used to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs, is getting ready to leave the NHL and play in his home country, Czechia.
During the 2021-22 season, Kase had a great performance with the Leafs, playing 50 games and scoring 14 goals and 27 points. To give you an idea, this means he was on track to score 23 goals and get 44 points, which is impressive for a player in the lower ranks!

However, his time with the Carolina Hurricanes the following year was short. Kase only played once before spending most of the season on LTIR.
Now, Kase wants to play in European leagues to be closer to home and focus on recovering fully from his concussion problems. This could be a big change for him, and we hope to see him doing well in Europe!
