Ty Voit, drafted in 2021 at the 153rd pick by the Maple Leafs, suffered a significant injury after awkwardly coliding with the boards.

Only six minutes into his first game with the Marlies, Voit was injured and left the game.

A new update revealed that surgery will be required, which puts an end to his season, and should be back in time for next season's training camp.
