Artem Anisimov is giving it another go in North America, signing a professional tryout agreement with Hartford @WolfPackAHL.

He could be a valuable addition to the Rangers, if he performs well in the AHL. Last season, he had a great year with the Flyers' AHL farm team, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Anisimov is a substantial addition to the Wolf Pack's offense. He scored 36 points (19 g, 17 a) a season ago for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 55 games, finishing 6th on the team in scoring.

The 771-game NHL veteran joins the team immediately and will wear #42.

Details will follow.
