It is not known how long the Leafs expect Ilya Samsonov to be out, and this is likely a precautionary move ahead of tomorrow night's game. There is hope that Samsonov will be ready to at least dress for the Leafs game on Thursday night, but likely won't play as he has missed nearly all practice time this week.
