The addition of
Erik Karlsson to the Penguins roster will be a major improvement and make them a tough team to face.
Who the Pens Would Give Up
As reported by PuckEmpire the Penguins would have to throw in
Jeff Petry as a trade piece in order to get the Swedish defenseman.
Petry has had a career reassertion when he was a member of the Montreal Canadiens but struggled only collecting 31 points in 61 games.
The Penguins would offer up picks and prospects to help sweeten the deal but getting the veteran defenseman would help the Penguins try to get their core three of Crosby, Malkin, Letang another Stanley Cup.
