BREAKING: John Tortorella Gets Suspended by the League After Last Night's Drama
Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella, got himself ejected and then refused to leave the bench during their matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. It didn't help his hand was in a cast and it was on the night Tampa Bay honored the 2004 Stanley Cup winners, a team he spearheaded to glory.
Things were already looking grim for the Flyers, trailing 4-0 halfway through the first period, and then Tortorella got into it with a referee. Not a great night for Philly, especially since they ended up getting shut out 7-0.

The NHL didn't let the incident slide. They handed down a verdict on Tortorella's antics. He was given a 2 game suspension by the league and a 5000$ fine.
