Clifford's Reaction to Duszak's Goal Celebration

Former NHL enforcer Kyle Clifford, now in the AHL, hasn't lost his edge, as shown in a recent game between the Marlies and Thunderbirds.
The fight was sparked by Joseph Duszak's celebration, which Clifford perceived as a taunt towards his team.

Clifford Confronts Duszak on Ice

Clifford, known for his toughness in the NHL, continued to uphold his reputation during a match involving the Marlies and Thunderbirds.
"After scoring against his previous team, Joseph Duszak exchanged heated words with the Marlies."

The tension escalated when Duszak, after scoring a goal, made a controversial celebration near the Marlies' bench, accompanied by provocative comments.
Reacting strongly, Clifford went after Duszak at the next faceoff, chasing him down the ice in anger. Although Duszak avoided confrontation by not fighting back, Clifford's frustration was obvious.
"Following his goal celebration, Kyle Clifford targeted Joseph Duszak right after the puck was dropped, indicating a significant altercation."

Duszak's History with the Marlies

The incident gets even more complicated when learning about Duszak's shaky history with the Marlies. Reports suggest he wasn't happy with his role on the team during his final season, leading to his departure.
"Duszak's departure from the Marlies was marked by controversy, including dissatisfaction with his role and an abrupt exit from the team amidst playoff implications."
This backdrop adds depth to the fight, suggesting that the clash was more than just a spur-of-the-moment reaction but also rooted in previous unresolved matters between Duszak and his former team.
