A report from the New York Post has indicated that New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil is leaving the team. The report confirms that Chytil will return home to Czechia to continue his recovery from his most recent concussion.
Filip Chytil returning to Czechia for ‘reset' in next step of concussion recovery
Chytil has been out since the beginning of November with his latest concussion. This is Chytil's 4th confirmed concussion in his NHL career. With the recurring nature of these concussion issues, Chytil asked to return home to be with family and friends as he fully recovers.
