Today's the last day of first window to buy out contracts in the NHL, and four players have been put on waivers.
Four Players on Waivers
According to Chris Johnston, Matt Duchene, Mike Reilly, Blake Wheeler and Kailer Yamamoto have all been placed on waivers.
"Matt Duchene (NSH), Mike Reilly (BOS), Blake Wheeler (WPG) and Kailer Yamamoto (DET) have been placed on unconditional waivers to be bought out before tonight's 5 p.m. ET deadline."
These are four good players and they shouldn't have trouble finding another contract before next season.
We'll know more tomorrow, when the free agency market opens.
