Unfortunately in professional sports, not every first-round pick can turn out the way you expect, and that's the perfect way to describe 2015 first-round draft pick Colin White.
Montreal Canadiens claim Colin White
White, a 27-year old center was drafted with the No. 21 overall pick back in 2015 by the Ottawa Senators, and after struggling to catch on anywhere, he's now headed North of the border again.
Must read on Daily Hockey Dose
In 303 games with Ottawa, Florida and Pittsburgh, White has tallied 44 goals and 113 points, but given the expectations of his draft status, it's safe to say he's not lived up to that yet.
However, at 27-years of age, he's still got plenty of time to turn it around, and after not scoring in 11 games with Pittsburgh this season, he'll look to turn more potential playing time into a full-time roster spot with the Montreal Canadiens, who have the time and the patience to develop him going forward.
