Defenseman Jason Demers recently went on the SJHN podcast and said this:
"pretty much" retired from professional hockey — «95%. I'm right on the edge of retirement, if not retired.» - Jason Demers
Demers played 700 games with the San Jose Sharks, Dallas Stars, Florida Panters, Arizona Coyotes and the Edmonton Oilers. During that span he collected 214 points and was a key player for the Sharks for years.
Demers is currently in talks to become a TV personality with the NHL Network and NBC Sports. An official announcement is expected in the coming weeks.
