The Chicago Blackhawks have placed Forward Zach Sanford on waivers.
Sanford, 29, has 3 assists in 15 games for the Blackhawks this season. Chicago acquired Sanford off Waivers from the Arizona Coyotes back in January this year. Sanford had 2 assists in 11 games for Arizona, a total of 5 points in 26 games.
Arizona signed Sanford to a one-year, $800k contract during the offseason, splitting time between the Nashville Predators and their AHL team, Milwaukee.
Sanford in his 7th NHL season, having played 331 NHL Games, with 49 Goals, 53 Assists & 102 Points. Sanford won a Stanley Cup in 2019 with the St. Louis Blues.
