The Chicago Blackhawks got lucky when they landed the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, and now it appears that the move is going to pay off even more in the coming years.
Through 34 games in his career, Connor Bedard has been as good as anyone could have expected or hoped for, as he has tallied 32 points over that time, including an incredible Michigan goal just before Christmas.

If that production wasn't enough to get Blackhawks fans excited about his future, it has now been revealed that Bedard may be enticing several superstars to join him with the Original Six Blackhawks.
Two top stars eyeing off a partnership with the young superstar
On the latest episode of Game Notes by Spittin Chiclets, it was revealed that not only one, but two stars are looking at Chicago as a major destination this summer, with the first being
Elias Pettersson of the Vancouver Canucks.
"Do not be surprised if you see Elias Pettersson try to make his way to the Chicago Blackhawks to be with Bedard next year.
I can see him out of there (Vancouver), and what a spot to go to. And that's a team (Chicago) that has the cap space, right?"
Beyond that,
William Nylander, who is on pace for the first 100 point season of his career is also interesting in pairing up with Bedard, and if the two Swedish players get on the same page, this could be a monumental summer.
"Nylander, too. There's been a lot of talk of Nylander going to Chicago as well. That's part of it, too."
Until we see it come to fruition, there's going to be plenty of doubters that this could happen, but if it does, there's no doubting that this would become one of the most exciting teams in the entire NHL.
