Throughout his career as a coach, Carolina Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind'Amour has had numerous blowups with NHL officials and has been fined for many of the comments he has made about the officiating.

Brind'Amour Comments on the NHL Officials Again

On Sunday, Brind'Amour made another statement regarding the officiating, feeling that his team was given an unfair penalty during the second period, which turned out to be a pivotal point in the game.
"Was it a penalty? Let's just be honest about it, it's not a penalty. The frustrating part about it is... you gotta kill it, but they've got a pretty good player and he's going to get his opportunities,"

Brind'Amour went on to accuse the referees of handing the goal to the Boston Bruins, which happened to be the 50th goal for Bruins forward David Pastrnak and the 600th point of his career.
"It's hard when you feel like they're just tossing them a goal," said Brind'Amour of the officials.

It is unclear whether Brind'Amour will be fined for his comments, but it is certain that NHL referees Ghislain Hebert and Graham Skilliter are not too happy with the callout.
