Darryl Sutter's time with the Flames came to an abrupt end after the 2022-23 season wrapped up. Many assumed it was because of the Flames' failure to make the playoffs but it turns out it was far more than that.
Shortly after the firing, it was revealed that Sutter instilled a toxic environment into the Flames locker room and further details have recently surfaced in an article for The Athletic.
