Today the Boston Bruins conducted a morning skate before their Game 7 matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. During that morning skate two previously injured Bruins players returned to the ice opening their possibility to play tonight.

The Boston Bruins shocked media and fans today when Andrew Peeke and Danton Heinen both returned to the ice for regular practice. To this point neither player had been an option during regular practice.
Danton Heinen is on the ice for morning skate. Andrew Peeke is also skating with the main group.
After practice head coach Jim Montgomery spoke to the media. He confirmed both players were progressing well but also said only Danton Heinen has a chance to play tonight.
Jim Montgomery and the Bruins will need to check to see how Danton Heinen feels after morning skate before clearing him for Game 7.
On the other end of the spectrum, Andrew Peeke will sit out once again. This means his first opportunity to return would come in a potential Game 1 of Round 2 if the Bruins can win tonight.
Andrew Peeke is not available tonight.
As Game 7 gets closer we will likely get several injury updates that make the lineups more definitive. This could include the returns of Danton Heinen for the Bruins and Auston Matthews for the Maple Leafs.
