A major update on Bobby McMann's status emerged ahead of the seventh game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins.
Earlier today, the Leafs held a morning skate and Bobby McMann was on the ice with his teammates for the first time since he got injured in a game against the Detroit Red Wings at the end of the regular season.
"Bobby McMann is also taking part in morning skate. First time we've seen him on the ice."

After the practice, in a press conference, Keefe shared an update on McMann. He stated that the forward won't play in game 7 on Saturday night, but is "not too far off" a return.
"Bobby McMann «not too far off,» per Keefe, but will not play Game 7."
In order to see McMann again in a game with the Leafs this season, the team will need to win tonight. If they manage to clinch their ticket for the second round, Toronto will need all the help they can get as they would face the Florida Panthers.
If Auston Matthews, who's been dealing with a lingering illness, and McMann return to the line up for game one of the second round, it could give a significant boost to the team morale and possibly enough momentum to beat the Panthers.
