Brad Marchand is today being celebrated by the Boston Bruins for 1000 games with the team, and unsurprisingly, he took to the occasion in style like only he can.

With the game tied at one late in the first period, Marchand dropped the gloves with Dallas Stars veteran defenseman

While Hanley is certainly a tough opponent, in this one he was no match for Marchand, as the Bruins captain took him down in quick order much to the delight of the crowd.
In 1002 games with the Bruins, Marchand has tallied 315 goals and 912 points, but his calling card throughout his career has been his gritty play that often gets under the skin of his opponents.
With one Stanley Cup under his belt, Marchand is chasing his first as captain of the Bruins, but on this day, he celebrated his 1000th game in Boston in typical Marchand style.
