Today, he has a press conference where he gave the reason why he retired.
"It was time for me to kind of move on."
The issues with health and his growing family are great reasons for the future Hall of Famer to retire. There is no doubt that his #37 will be retired by the Bruins as Bergeron is one of the most iconic figures in Bruins history.
