Charlie McAvoy likely gained some new fans today, as the Bruins defender flattened one of the league's biggest pests, Matthew Tkachuk. Ever wanted to see Tkachuk get demolished? Keep reading to see it!
Tkachuk's Stick Sent Fyling
Matthew Tkachuk is probably one of the biggest annoyances in the NHL, and has made enemies with just about every fan base. His pest-like, in your face style of play has made him a pain in the butt to play against, and may fans just wish that someone would put him in his place.
Must read on Daily Hockey Dose
Well, Charlie McAvoy has heard your prayers, and he has delivered with an incredibly satisfying hit on Tkachuk.
As you can see, McAvoy flattens the older Tkachuk brother with little regard for anything else going on in the play. The hit had to hurt, and we can see Tkachuk's stick get sent flying through the air.
For once, Tkachuk is on the receiving end of a (maybe) malicious hit, and it feels so good to watch.
