Cassidy Says Marchand Would Be Good Choice As Captain
When asked about Marchand as a potential captain Cassidy said the following:
I do not think that many guys are the perfect mix of anything. I think Bergeron was good at that he led by example. Off ice, he made sure everyone was welcomed.
He also went on to say that Marchand's biggest challenge will be relating to the young players just breaking through into the NHL.

Regardless of whether or not the Bruins go with Marchand or someone else they will have plenty of veteran presence to collectively fill the skates of Patrice Bergeron.
